Create an Animation

I am creating a project to make a 2D sidescrolling action/fighting game. For those familiar with video games or can view YouTube videos, the style would be somewhat similar to older style games such as 'Golden Axe' and 'Streets of Rage 2', with some more modern art and animations as can be seen in the likes of 'Shank 2'. I am seeking artists for the character sprites and backgrounds/scenery, as well as in game icons, props and miscellaneous objects. Depending on cost, it's possible that a short demo will be made initially, in which all game functions are not required, before gauging public interest and/or crowdfunding the project. If it is successful the project will be ongoing, with perpetual advancements and new installments for the foreseeable future.
