Build a financial web app

Web App need similar to this [login to view URL] The web app answers the question: “If I had invested in X on X date how much would the investment be worth today” for example “If I had invested $2000 in Apple Inc. on 5th September 2002 what would it be worth today?” Users are able to change the amount invested, which company was invested into and on what date. On clicking the find out button they are taken to the result page for example [login to view URL] The results page contains the amount the investment would be worth today, some more interesting data, a price chart and a FAQ that transitions into a signup form for the newsletter. It includes a self-updating database of over 3000 companies with price data. So you will never need to manually update anything the site will self-update to keep the latest prices. That's per original description. But I want to add comparison with the forex real estate etc as I mentioned above. But same concept So if we invest xxxx $ in a stock , certain year , then how much would it be now , compared to buying Stock, forex (currency pairs to be chosen),index ,real estate ( we can use real estate index for few countries )
