I need a website that exactly does this,
I can elaborate more once I find some help but here's the jist of it......
Step 1 ) I would like my customer to be able to login to my website, see the list of things To Do be able to click submit work order , and when I hit confirm on my end, it goes in the list of things to do,, perhaps one page for new work submitted, and if I click confirm it pops over to the work to do page, and when its done, it pops over to the work done page. I would like to see the things to do not by calender format but in a list format, I'd like to be able to sort by Date work needs to be done , by city, or by job name.
I would like only that customer to see their jobs.
Step 2) I would like to retain the PDF files that pertain to the particular "work done" or "work in progress" by clicking on their job names, I don't know where those files would be stored exactly, I do have an FTP server, or via some cloud means, i'm not sure how that would be done, your the pro, you tell me. I would like to store the files per job by submitting the files through the website so if I log in as the administrator I can store project related files that the customer would be able to find if they logged in.
Step 3) We use "invoices 2 go" at the moment, I would like to create invoices directly from my website and email them in a PDF format, after I create the invoice I would like it to email a PDF file style invoice, and be able to add attachments (the reports i'm talking about next)..... these could be attached from my local drive but ultimately phase 2 I would like to generate the reports and create them directly from website, that's a more complicated matter. I want my customers to be able to see their open invoices, I would like to be able to resend them, I would like them to be marked as paid if they are paid with a big red stamp that says paid on the invoice
I would like my custers to be able to login, see their open invoices and pay them directly from my website, I would like them to be able to find their paid and open invoices.
Step 4 I would like to be able to complile reports all of the invoices / work to do / on my end sorted by customer, or by date, or by job name, or date the work needed to be performed.
Conclusion: I need my customer to be able to submit work orders, me say OK and it go on the list of things to do, and after each job is done, i'm able to invoice for it
Work orders created starting with a two digit letter code of their choice when they create their account then 4 numbers starting with 0001 ie SQ001. When they create their account they get asked EIN or Tax ID number, company name, address, etc etc perhaps they can click create PO, then the site asks job name? address? description of work? Date to be completed by? they will then be able to see their list of work orders submitted. Then when I hit ok I add a price to it and the whole thing can be seen later under the work in progress tab.
3 tabs - Folder #1 - Submitted work -
Folder #2 - work in progress (listed by date default can be resorted by WO# or city etc)- folder #3 - work complete,
the work complete folder and work in progress folder contain a link to files or better yet a [+] to corresponding files for that project. I'd like to be able to upload those files to the website directly from the website whever that is hosted. I would like my customers to be able to do the same , upload file link
I want to be able to manage all folders and accounts as the admin, delete, add change as I please..
I want to be able to create folders for specific clients and give them a login
so certain customers can just go grab their files/drawings whatever.
I'm not expecting anything fancy, this can be text only without graphics, the simpler to print the work in progress list the better.
specific work includes estimate, repair, install, service, inspection of , fire hydrant, sprinkler, alarm, extinguisher, kitchen hood system, , work may be more than one of those things,
I'm not complicated to work with, anything is better than we got, which is pen and paper at the moment.
