Project Overview

Create the design and aesthetics for 3 match games.

Create an animated movie depicting 3 games being played.

The movie will have a duration of 5-7 minutes.

A resolution of approximately 1024 x 720 (to be embed in presentations).

Each game action will require a sound effect.

Gameplay will have an audio and visual impact level associated with top ranked match-three puzzle games and digital slot machines.

The developer will anticipate our doing a voice over.

Game Mechanical Overview

The first game uses a gameboard with a 7x5 grid comprised of 35 square cards bearing text (instead of icons as found most match games).

Of the 35 cards 20 cards are distinct. The remaining 15 cards are duplicates, for the purpose of matching.

To start the game 20 cards are introduced sequentially and displayed full screen. Each card is displayed long enough for visual recognition e.g.: 0.7 to 1.5 seconds.

This visual card introduction could appear as 15 card pairs and 5 single cards being stacked face up.

This 35 card deck is then quickly flipped, shuffled and dealt face down to the gameboard (a graphical variation on this is action will be considered).

All cards having landed initiates gameplay and the timer begins a countdown from 5 minutes.

The player clicks the cards one at a time to reveal their values.

As matching cards are revealed their value is added to the score.

Touching a card a second time pauses the game and restores it to full size. The next touch of the card reduces it back again which restores gameplay and the timer continues.

Selecting one of the 5 cards which does not have a matched pair initiates actions like opening an “inside game” which is referred to in this document as “second” and “third” games.

The second game (example) will display 12 treasure chest icons. 9 of these chests, when clicked, will each display their contents and point value. The 3 remaining chests will also open when clicked, but reveal they are empty. While all values may be won which will end the game, clicking the 3 empty chests ends the game immediately.

The third game (example) displays 12 or more icons which reveal 1 of 6 point values when clicked. A click counter counts down from 8 as the icons are clicked. The 8th click ends the game, the scoreboard is updated and player is returned to the initial game.

The attached graphic is a representation of functionality rather than a design statement.

Production time shall not exceed 3 weeks

The developer will sign and honor a nondisclosure agreement (NDA)

All source files/components delivered with production/compiled/rendered file(s).
