creation of square block coloured photos for my blog

Hello all - i require the following I have purchased and uploaded a blog template - its being powered by blogger. i am using a blog page as the web space for my new business the templates allows for 9 photos to be displayed. i would like 6 photo images to be created 3 green block colour squares, 3 purple block colour squares. On the 6 colour block squares and the 2 photos and logo image, i would like to have text placed tastefully on the images stating what information is available behind the image on the blog pages. The colours i use are Purple CMYK C 62 M91 Y0 K0 RGB R 125 G 56 B 161 Green CMYK C 85 M 26 Y 60 K 8 RGB R0 G 134 B 118 Link to blog as it is to date so you can see what im talking about - blog template design wise [login to view URL] i have logo image in many formats and the two photos i want to use Snippet from blog template files that i got when purchased the blog template about photo size - see below "Create Post - This themes handles content in a standard Blogger way. Each individual blog post represent a single grid module. The theme required to have at least an image each post in order to create thumbnail. Each image should ideally be larger than 270px wide and 270px tall if it's intended to be used inside of the normal post."
