Hello. I recently took a course in my local college about writing children's picture books. My own story, along with hard work in the course resulted in an A. I'll use what I learned to help you rework the book so it has the best possible chance of getting picked up for publication. I'm not an artist and typically the way it works is you write the book and once a publisher falls in love with it they shop it out to a professional artist. There are very few writer/illustrators out there and most of the time the illustrator is brought on after the publisher takes on your book.
