We are creating a series of 20+ short stories (4,500 words) for children aged 5 to 8. We have developed the template for the stories and the characters and have already written 7 of the stories. We are looking for an extra author who can assist in the writing of the stories. The stories are a lot of fun involving the classic tale of a group of children saving the world from the baddies! Payment will be on a per story basis. It's anticipated that the writing of the story would take approximately 20 to 25 hours. If the successful applicant writes a high quality first story then there will be additional stories for that author. All copyright is retained by the company. Prior experience in writing for this audience will be looked upon favorably.

I'm a short story writer and an english teacher. Although I've never acutally written stories for children, I have a very good experience in telling those to my little students, so I believe I can fulfill this project's objectives completely. Also, I've been involved in the writing of those types of stories for all my life, as my father is a writer of children's books.

I am a creative writer with four novels, several short stories and essays to my credit. My publishers include Five Star Press in the US and Pulp Fiction Press, based in Queensland. My stories are generally SF and fantasy related, but I have also written in other genres.
