Hello. I have some 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of clothing, having had my own factory and supplying the national chain stores in men's, ladies, kiddies and baby fashions. Thankfully now I am a stay at and work from home mum with a fully equipped studio and an 18 month toddler. I was rather disappointed with the choice of maternity wear when pregnant, either too 'cute', too 'frumpy', too 'expensive', etc, so being an ex trend buyer I scoured the shops for current fashions that were suitable and stylish so I have a good range of ideas to start with.
Phase 1: Sketch up 30 garments for review, render chosen styles in fashion illustration and provide a technical specification sheet for each. List fabric choices and trims, make master pattern and provide a rating for costing purposes. Approximately 2 weeks @ $1500.
Phase 2: Make sample, send for fit and quality approval, make any necessary changes then grade patterns to 5 sizes, supply as print ready file, with quality control sheet for production. Approximately 4 weeks @ $1500 with an additional cost for fabric and trim purchases to be determined at the time.
I have uploaded some samples of specification sheets to my portfolio for your appraisal.
Looking forward to your favorable reply
Kind Regards
