Hi, I am from a telecommunications engineering and software background. I have a basic understanding on the Earlang model and willing to read the literature to do the research element of the project. Are you looking for just and excel model or to develop an application to load the data and make the predictions based on the data. Once we develop the model we develop a C++ or C# application. Experienced in building complex event processing platforms that analyze streams with various prediction models for responsive analytics. That said, building a prediction model using traditional statistics, machine learning tools or algorithmic modelling took by far more time as other components and then there's hundreds GB of data to be processed. Been there, built the infrastructure, done that. In the end it doesn't matter what tools were used, what you want is superb precision and recall and a prediction with a high confidence level.
