Hiring a creative aerospace or mechanical engineer with a great sense of design and a strong willing to learn new things. Required knowledge: Professional computer aided design (CAD) modelling; Mechanical (linear / non-linear) simulations; Computer fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations; Experience with designing aircraft (vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), drones, manned aircraft, experience designing aircraft propellers / turbines, battery systems (safety electronics and BMS)); Microsoft Office or Apple iWork; Excellent English skills; Welcome knowledge: CAD Modeling software: SoldWorks; Autodesk Inventor Professional; ANSYS Simulations: ANSYS (CFD); Autodesk Simulations and Nastran; SolidWorks Simulations (CFD) Experience with Apple Mac computers (OS X operating system) Experience with Microsoft Windows 8.1 Experience with running computer simulations on external servers / workstations and server management; Product development and management skills as well as a good communication skills and willingness to work with 3-rd party suppliers and manufacturers from the early design process. Open and collaborative team player. Willingness to fly and work in Latvia as a contractor or full time job for at least 6 months (willingness to continue as a stable job).
