database connectivity scripting

The outline: We have an iPhone app called 'Properties in France... in English' Created and tested on a shared server being fed from the db with test data. We are starting to test with real data to be fed from an Estate Agent. (We will get new Agents on-board and have the server/app fed with properties from each of them. We don't know the server spec or table structures for all at this stage but are presuming that they will either be PHP/MySQL, asp/MSsql or Access, and table structures will offer the same basic fields of data). We want a script that will be as generic as possible (in each language), adaptable easily to each agency setup. Our first (test) Agency has a windows .asp/access setup. We have created some files (attached) but our windows machine has now got problems so we are looking for someone to complete this. The script must be written in Classic ASP. - New records created in our remote database must have the 'propr_upload_required' field set to '1' - We have attached the beginnings of the ASP script with database connections and loop. The concept is: 1) Get server info from estate agent (see xls files attached) 2) Create asp files (etc.) 3) We will then give the files to the Agents to load on their server and complete db info as required 4) This then allows the properties to be pulled to our remote Mysql DB (therefore feeding the iPhone app). The script would need to check that the transfer was successful. 5) Each week (or so?) the server pulls ALL data again (maybe via a Cron) from the Estate Agent to put this on our server as the latest version. As we get more and more Agents on board we would have to stagger the update schedules to not overload the system because it is very feasible that each Agent may have several 00's of properties each with 4 or 5 photos. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). ## Platform present script requirement is windows .asp/access we will require the same solution for linux php/mysql and for windows .asp/mssql
