Hi Ive gone through your requirements and though it is very general im sure you will explain in details later. As for the deliverables, what you're seeking may not need a raspberry pi as it is a more generic platform. Instead a custom designed hardware platform may be more suited to your purpose wherein actual interfaces to connect to various sensors and outputs exist. Such a system would be purpose built, lean, efficient and small and for all purposes can be considered similar to a raspberry pi except that it does not have the OS layer. For your requirements, i would design & fabricate the hardware as well as the firmware to go with your android/iOS app as a firm integration.

Hi, I have worked on several projects using Raspberry pi/Arduino board. My recent projects are 1. Raspberry pi based HAM radio control 2. Raspberry pi based product vending machine 3. Raspberry pi based remote relay and temperature monitoring system 4. Raspberry pi based projection tacking system. 5. Current working on Raspberry pi based swimming pool vending machine. These projects includes Arduino (an open source micro-controller board) as well and Arduino standlone projects like arduino based pov vision, robot movement control, 3d gyro control etc. I have used Raspberry pi extensively for hardware controlling purpose and also as a media player. I have did programming on raspberry pi using native C, scripting languages like python, php, bash script and web programming (on raspberry pi). As i already started to work on this IOT platform, this will be easy for me to execute it.
