please see the requirements attached to understand the project
the research would focus on Casio 95es
the research should supply also the following information
1) manual of the LCD that is used by the calculator
2) data protocol of the LCD, how does the signals towards the LCD looks like?
3) can we find software drivers of the LCD online? or should we write our own drivers?
4) when a key is pressed on the key-pad, how can you decode and tell which key has pressed
5) how do you remove the LCD wires from the original PCB? how much does the removal cost? do you need special machine for the removal? can the board be destroyed by removing the LCD connector?
6) how can you solder another lcd connector to an evaluation module
7) which MCU can decode and transmit 100+ pins of LCD. do we need a special IC for it? if yes how do we integrate it into our evaluation module?
8) which evaluation module will be the best for our needs?
9) can you make a pcb that after being connected to the LCD connector and to the LCD. will fit inside the plastic case?
10) how much this PCB consumes (mA) (we need minimum consumption)
11) how much will it cost to manufacture the PCB - miniboard.( dollars per piece)
12) which batteries are used in the calculator? can these batteries drive the Miniboard
Hi in a few hour have Casio fx in my hand opened and created one report with pictures for you with this you can have one idea of full project.
Best Regards.
