The functionality of the Data Logger & Accumulator: a Logger process will be running in the background of our online Services. It will record the data volume handled on the customers’ behalf by time slice. Of the various facts involved, the only element which is subject to change is the length of time represented by each log message and each cache file. That fact does not have bearing on the behavior of the Accumulator. It is the function of the Accumulator (this project) to resolve data volume as recorded over arbitrary slices of time, to human-meaningful one minute clock-time boundaries. Accumulator: EVERY MINUTE: Iterate over raw data directories. Accumulate data into 1 minute slices (synced to normal clock time) record time slices in DB, 1 record per connection per minute. Hi. I'm a programmer from Russia with strong skills in C++. You can see the full list of my skills on my profile page. I have good experience in developing applications using databases and SQL queries. Mostly I worked with Postgres and SQLite, but I'm also familiar with MySQL. My offer is to use a programming pattern called Singleton for logger and accumulator. It means there will be only one logger and only one accumulator that is executed in the same time. I'm good with version control systems, I worked with Git and Bazaar, but I'm able to learn other systems as well. My knowledge in this field includes simple actions like staging changes, committing them to a local repository, pushing them to a remote one, merging changes, branching, and more complex actions like resolving the conflicts etc. If you're interested, feel free to contact me.
