Hello there - I am an Excel VBA expert so can definitely craft something to meet your needs. It seems to be more of a Time Tracker than a Calendar? I take it these events can have duration greater than a day and that more than one event can occur on each day. The key thing here is not the data entry as that is relatively simple once you understand the capabilities of Excel but the display of the Time data itself. There are several different modes you could try - colour coded blocks with comments attached is a common method or then you can have larger cells with the text for each entry on their own line. I take it you will want to print reports out for hard copy as well as review it on the screen? I have a toolkit that means I can deliver a suitable application in the time quoted, with a decent user interface for entering and interrogating the data as well as the calendar display itself.
