The Community College is launching a new Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management program. A unique feature of this program is the “Launch Pad” – the program’s small business incubator. You can also learn more about the program at: [login to view URL] The Task: As with any new initiative, the program needs to generate awareness and interest to attract entrepreneurial students to enroll in the program. Your task is to develop a marketing plan to for the program to create awareness in the greater Aurora/Denver community with the ultimate goal of attracting future business owners to inquire about and enroll in one of the three programs offered. Marketing Considerations: • Target audience: men and women age 25-45; students seeking to complete a two-year degree for transfer to a four-year institution and/0or current business owners or potential business owners. • Branding: CCA’s overall brand message is Potential Realized. We would like a tagline that would resonate with the target audience. • Social Media: we would like to use social media channels as part of this plan. • Other media/collateral: what other media/collateral would you recommend in this plan and what budget? • The plan needs to be sensitive to the various cultures and demographics represented by the CCA student body and the Aurora community. • The plan needs to be consistent with the established branding efforts currently in place by the college. Deliverable Select one or more of marketing considerations listed above and present a plan, complete with visual aids to present during your interview. The visual aid could be in the form of a PowerPoint, handout or other paper-based collateral, or a web-based visual aid that allows the members of the search committee to examine your ideas for marketing the program.
