Compare contrast essay

Essay III: Alice Walker Compare/Contrast Essay We will discuss (in class) both Alice Walker’s short story “Nineteen Fifty-Five” and “Everyday use”, especially the similarities and differences in the literary elements presented in both stories. With this information you will write an essay within the following guidelines: Your essay must follow all MLA formatting guidelines, including the proper headings and a proper title. You are to compare and contrast Alice Walker's "Nineteen Fifty-Five" (the title should be written out in long form) and "Everyday Use" using at least four literary elements. The essay must be at least three full pages in length and should be well developed. The essay must also include biographical information on Alice Walker. At least two outside, secondary sources must be cited using proper MLA formatting (In text citation and a Work’s Cited page.)
