My client's website requires a MINIMUM of 20 plain text articles to be written for publication on their website and on other websites around the Internet.
They are being written for a website that sells a large range of collectable/memorabilia products all around the world, hence we would like to see the articles having a fun aspect to them, based around the keywords supplied.
While I don't expect War & Peace, I do want to be entertained & informed while reading each article. How you achieve that is up to you as the writer. Here's the chance for you to use your imagination - I won't set any hard core directions - I prefer you to be imaginative & pro-active with your efforts.
You can write about current events, famous stars, historical occasions, an experience in your life, or whatever takes your fancy, as long as they meet my terms & conditions, and are entertaining & informative.
It's important that the article has SOME relevance to the keyword phrase it is built around, because the Search engines also look at the words near the primary keywords, and give added value to articles where it's very obvious that the title is ON TOPIC, and not just a random title at the top of a non-related article.
I have US$145 (not negotiable) available to purchase as MANY articles as you can come up with (minimum 20), and preference will be given to those bids who offer to write more than 20 articles.
I'd like to see some samples of articles you have already written when you bid on this job, so please include them.
Lastly, if you do a good job with this, it should turn into more work over time. We are pushing a lot of our SEO/SEM clients to pursue article writing as a means of improving their search engine rankings, and can bring you more work if you perform well.
## Deliverables
All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).<BR>
The primary purpose of these articles is to supply keyword rich content on their own site (for the search engines) and to also generate link popularity for their site when the articles are published on other web sites.
It is VITAL (NOT NEGOTIABLE) that anyone bidding on this job must have a high level of skill with English. If English is NOT your native language, it is most unlikely you will win this bid unless you can prove beyond doubt that you are very competent with its use (in the written form).
You must also be experienced with writing articles that have been optimised for the search engines, and understand issues like keyword density, keyword efficency, etc. I require a keyword density between 1% & 4%.
I do not have time (or the desire) to teach this, so if it is all new to you, please do NOT place a bid on this job.
Each article must be a minimum of 500 words in length, with appropriate grammar, perfect spelling, and be interesting to read.
All content MUST be original. We will check every article to ensure it has not be "scraped" from someone's website, etc and will NOT pay for content that has been stolen from someone else. Articles will need to be reviewed before final payment is released from escrow, to ensure quality of work.
Some additional tips/rules to help things flow smoothly:
MUST BE informative and share your unique expertise. Where appropriate, include tips, strategies, techniques, analysis, opinions and commentary in your articles.
MUST NOT be a press release, advertisement, sales letter, promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype.
SIMPLE PUNCTUATION RULES: One or two spaces after each period, colon, or semi-colon; Periods should be inside of quotes; When doing "..." -- you should use only 3 dots minimum and maximum; When using dashes, use two in a row, ex: "--"; There is never a space BEFORE a period or BEFORE a comma.
MUST NOT contain pornography/adult material, hate or violence-oriented, suggest racial intolerance, advocate against any individual, have insulting-obscene-degrading tone, or contain excess profanity.
MUST NOT contain information on: hacking/cracking content, bomb creation, support for terrorism/ radicalism/religious fanaticism, illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia, weapon/ firearms/ammunition/balisongs/butterfly knives or brass knuckles, or the promotion of hard alcohol/tobacco-related products or prescription drugs.
MUST NOT contain any content that is a violation of any law, could be considered defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
If you need to add a webpage link into an article, please write it in this format: <[login to view URL]> - and please keep them to a minimum for each article. I will add any other links I feel are necessary when I proof them.
Finally, the keywords I want the articles written around are as follows:
humorous signs
bar sign
gifts and collectibles

Yes, there's more than 20 keywords here, but that gives you a choice as to which ones you want to write about, AND, for those of you keen enough to write more than 20, it gives you a broader range of topics.
The keyword phrase relevent for each article MUST be used in the article title. You can have extra words in the title, up to a maximum of 9.
## Platform
Plain text only, with NO formatting. Preference given to articles written in Windows Notepad.
If you choose to use MS Word to write your documents, you MUST switch off all the Word Smart Quotes, etc. If you are not familiar with this, please read this article FIRST before commencing your writing:
Articles submitted in MS Word (or similar) format which have ANY non-standard characters in them will be rejected immediately.
Each article is to be written & saved in its own individual file, with the article title as the saved file name. All articles are to be delivered bundled into 1 zip file for opening & use on a Windows PC.
