Data entry on download website (copy/paste program description + software FTP upload)

I'm looking for one or more persons/teams to do data entry on a new software download website. If you are a team you must be very good organized. Site is based on WordPress with one simple extra feature added (for software upload). You will get one or more contributor access to the site - I must approve every article before it appears on the site.

In **project additional information** is everything what you should do. If you get a job I will send you a little more detailed description to make you feel sure that you are doing a good job.

**Requirements:**

- You need a good internet connection due to software uploads

- medium WordPress knowledge

- medium software knowledge (if you don't know in which category put NOD32, IE9 etc. you definitely aren't good enough to do this job)

- Basic FTP knowledge

- basic English knowledge

**PLEASE READ THIS DETAIL JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BID!**

**Detail job description:**

1.) I will give you a few download websites where you will find program description and download software. I will tell you which categories from those sites I would like to copy/upload to my site

2.) You must copy and paste the general software description - 95% of programs has this kind of description.

Other 5% is when the program description is not general but reviewed by certain website. Than you have to find program description in English Wikipedia and clear text from Wikipedia characters [1], [2], [3], [edit]....

Each program must have at least 100 words (you have word count builded in WordPress). Generally, each general program description has more than 100 words

3.) You have to add at least 3 post tags

4.) You have to input additional information about program (price, publisher, publisher URL and software version). All this you have on the page from which you are downloading the software - you can write all this additional information in less than 1 minute

5.) You have to put the program in the proper category. We have only 15 categories so far, so this is very basic and simple, but you have to know what kind of software is that to chose proper category (if you are not sure, you can always take a look in which category the program is on the site from which you are copy description and downloading the software).

6.) You have to set a program screen shot picture (if the picture doesn't have a brand logo), or you can find screen shot easily on Google images. Image upload is very easy (just insert image URL)

7.) Software upload. You will get FTP account on our server where you will upload all programs.

Upload procedure:

7-a) Download software on your computer and rename the file if is necessary (the file must have recognizable name, for example if you download a file named [login to view URL] you have to rename it to [login to view URL]). Usually you have to rename file-name in 40% cases

7-b) Upload downloaded file from your computer to our site with any FTP program

7-c) OPTIONAL! When you upload file on our server it is in temporary folder - you have to merge written article with the file in the temporary folder. This you are doing with our additional WordPress widget (it's very simple). We can make a deal without doing this step but than you have to be sure that each uploaded file has a recognizable name (described in "7-a")

You will not upload programs which are bigger of 60mb - you will write an extra .txt file only with links to programs which are bigger of 60MB. You will find less than 5% of those programs.

There are many programs from Microsoft, Adobe etc. which we are not allowed to keep on our server. For this programs you just need to put download link. In your calculations you don't have to calculate this programs as less valuable despite of that you need a shorter time to finish them.
