I'm looking to implement a RESTful web interface for my application that will respond with JSON objects. Basically, I want to be able to embed a web server library to my application, start the server on a separate thread in my application and have that thread respond to web requests via a JSON-RPC interface. For example, given that I have a class named Cake; my server listens on port 8000, and I navigate my web browser to http://localhost/api/cake, the server should respond back with a JSON object like so: [ { "id" : 1, "name" : "Chocolate" }, { "id" : 2, "name" : "Strawberry" } ] If you fully understand this project, please reply with "rest" in your response.

I can do this project, if there is API to access the gsm-modem. I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on client side, the language is c++ under windows. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files to c++ scripts which has the same effect, of course garbage collection included. rest. Hello, I am ready to provide your project, but I need some further details. Mainly, the functionality of the server is straightforward, but from where does the server get the data? i.e. database? online website? Also the required efficiency of the server, how many user will connect to it simultaneously? One? a handful? a lot? This is the main factor differentiating between a quick hacked server and apache for example. Best Regards Hawas

res. On what operating system is this software? Do you want to perform only the template to create restfull api by you ? or you deliver the functionality list in restfull api ? such as: login, sessions, etc. greetings

I already wrote that kind of server in C/C++, with both json and xml output format. I can reuse libraries or build it from scratch. You didn't specified the operating system (Windows/Linux/OSX/Android/IOS/...) nor the architecture, but i am used to cross-platform application anyway, so i'll follow your requirements.
