C# properties class implementation

I have a class that has private fields and it exposes public properties. I need to properties to have properties. I need to know the best most effective way of implementing this. I have a private string _name and I want the name field to have properties too, and example would be Size/length so I can set the string to a specific size programmatically. I will send a sample class. I just need to know the best way. I know several just need help implementing the most effective and reduce overhead the best. This is a simple example but it will be more complex as the properties, properties will have properties maybe 4 to 5 deep. The class I am sending I need all the private fields to have a size property.
