We are looking for a talented fellow who can help us create a framework for Unity 3D of a pseudo-3D racing game.
The most poignant example would be Lotus 3: The Ultimate Challenge.
The top features we need:
- It needs to be completely 2D (no 3D meshes, just sprites).
- It needs to retain the blocky/pixelated look
- The track needs to be able to bend left, right, up and down (also, be able to show multiple bends/uphills per screen)
- Player controller (left-right forces as you enter a curve, upward slowness, downward speediness, etc )
- Checkpoint system
- Basic AI
- A track editor akin to Lotus 3: The Ultimate Challenge (it needs to generate a unique number, which describes the track)
