Hi, We are very well familiar with PIC16/18 family. We had recently developed few project related to this PIC like.. 1. Auto Accident information by GSM:- We have placed GSM system, PIC16(16f876a), flux sensor, IR sensor etc, when some one hits our vehicle flex sensor starts working and our GSM will message to registered police station number and owner's emergency number. 2. Driver Safety System:- used item-PIC16f, gas censor, heartbeat sensor, GSM. When some starts 4 wheeler the system track first the seat belt is on or not, than gas sensor will track that whether the driver drunk Alcohol or not after that system starts the engine. It was working the same in driving conditions like in between running vehicle driver start drinking that gas sensor work like after confirmation of Alcohol it reduce the speed and engine will stop with in next 1-2min and message will send to registered number. After working like this we have full confidence that we can work on your requirement with working on PIC24 module.
