Have you considered that making your altcoin compatible with mining pools makes it susceptible to multipool attacks? * X11/POS/POW Have you made a decision on these yet? Should multiple block authority schemes be used? * block explorer web-based? * wallet for all os's As provided by the Qt source code for Bitcoin/Litecoin * marketing strategy I'm a software consultant and developer, but you can find loads of marketing experts on freelancer.com. * pre-mine strategy You should consider this carefully as it may make possible users consider not to trust your altcoin. It might help to be transparent on how your pre-mine benefits the community. * coin source code I normally base such work on Bitcoin/Litecoin/Peercoin source code and of course provide the modified source completely. * documentation and specs As provided with the *coin source code we base it on, plus the changes we discuss. * comments on code please state what needs commenting.
