Configuration port for setting: Minimum Tariff (Day and Night), Rate/Km(Day and Night), Waiting Time(Day and Night), Cab Number, Welcome message, Futter note. 6. GPS support for location. Optional: 1. GPRS for data to send to server. (With added cost only). Can get the work more faster if you not limit your self on specific controller.

I can do it for you using Arm A8.. I did a similar location based devices using it before. Screens are 3 to 7 inches.

Greetings, I am Tanveer and currently I am a firmware engineer at Systellex Inc. My job is to program various routers with OpenWRT distribution of Linux. I have experience with ARM programming and quite luckily I have NXP LPC1768 cortex m3 based development board. The board comes with a 3.2" LCD (SSD1289). well frankly I havent done much programming with SSD1289 LCD but I am positive that I can do this projecct and deliver. However I would like to hear more from you on this project. For a taxi meter I would prefer using a 16x4 or a GLCD. I have the board so I can program and test readily. And about the hardware I will also design the final hardware which will allow you get into production mode as soon as possible.
