Business Process Analyst - to design business processes for oil & gas consulting company -- 2

A fast growing oil & gas consulting company, with offices in London and Dubai, is looking for a freelance Business Analyst experienced in working with small start-up businesses and ideally, with a good understanding of BPMN. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the business partners to identify areas for improvements and develop and implement new and/or improved processes. Key activities will include: • Identifying, defining and analysing business processes and business process performance • Assessing the feasibility of proposed process changes and subsequent impact on all areas affected by change • Understanding and managing dependencies and interdependencies across processes • Requirements gathering, analysis and definition to support development of processes • Working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the successful development and implementation of new/improved business processes (this may include contributing to training/guidance materials) Skills/Experienced Required: • Should be business and process focused • Must have working knowledge of MS Visio, and possibly other modelling tools • Ability to map As-Is and To-Be processes • Have a proactive attitude in identifying opportunities for improvements to process performance i.e. more effective and efficient processes • Good understanding of business requirements elicitation and management • Good English communication skills: able to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing • Positive attitude, good stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage with staff on all levels and to think outside of the box Also, considered as a plus: • Experience in the Oil industry, Iranian market • Fluent orally and/or written in Farsi • Certification of project management and process design also a plus
