CAD CAM Currently I have a routine based in auto cad 10 that saves tool profiles to a manufacture data base with part number as a auto cad dwg. The routine interfaces with a excel. Part numbers are entered in a excel format and the routine imports the shapes using the excel file from the data base allowing each shape to be moved in auto cad creating final design for manufacture. I have an add on routine that is not finished as my programmer passed. I am looking for someone to finish this add on routine. The original routine saves the profile with a center location and generates line numbers based on the excel file populating the number in the center of each imported profile. The add on routine requires an additional layer using a letter (A) inside the profile which will be manually moved to a desired location for a marking position on the profile. The add on routine is complete to this point shows the centered text number and also the A. To complete this add on routine it must save the A in any location positioned within the profile to the data base. I will send the original routine, add on routine and all supporting files with instructions for the operation. Please contact if interested. Regards Ray

If the program you've mentioned is Lisp, I am your guy. If not, please consider the possibility to move it on lisp. If you are interested, I can send you some short movies about autocad-excel communication, reading from excel, exporting to excel etc. PS. AutoCAD 10 means R10 (released in early '90s) or Autocar 2010?
