Article Rewriter - English, USA, Writers only

Rewrite Travel Related Articles and Day-by-Day Travel Itineraries

- I need at least one or two article rewriters

- Prefer someone with travel writing experience

- Native English speaking writers originally from the USA, England, Canada, or Australia

- Please do not bid if English is your second language. I have been through this before and generally I find too many grammatical errors if English is not your native first language, sorry.

- Must have absolute command of the English language and excellent grammar and writing skills

- Must be creative, have a big vocabulary, be able to think like a Thesaurus or know how to use one

- Must have excellent writing and proof reading skills for this project.

- Do not bid if you plan to pass this off to someone else to write. I have had this happen before, and I will be able to tell by your writing style from sample work that you must provide … whether or not it is your work. I will not make payment if it is passed to other writers after you have won the bid.

Sample Writing: You must show us your rewriting ability by doing rewrites from the sample furnished (see attachment). Please rewrite the samples and attach it as a word document .doc file. Thanks

Bids without the rewrite samples will be ignored.

Quality work: You will receive as many articles as you think you can rewrite in a reasonable amount of time. This is about Quality work, not speed!

Articles cover many destinations in the world: Mexico, South America, Central America, Europe, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti, Papua New Guinea, the Caribbean, Around the World Cruises, Caribbean Cruises, United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and more.

The articles that need rewrites generally run from 450 - 850 words each.

For every article I send you, I need 2 rewrites of that article.

Do not bid more than $30 to start … this will cover up to 15 article rewrites (under 700 words)

If we furnish you with article rewrites (700 to 1000 words), it will cover up to 10 articles, etc.

Any work you do beyond this amount will be paid as additional payment based on total number of rewrites and words.

Pay: For rewrites $2 (under 700 words) $3 ( 700-1000 words) $4 (1000 - 1500 words) for each rewrite, total of ($4 to $8 for the 2 articles) – non-negotiable, if not comfortable with pay, please do not bid.

Style Guide:

1st rewrite – Use Day-by-Day Itinerary structure and rewrite as day-by-day travel itinerary

2nd rewrite – Use original day-by-day itinerary and rewrite as an article. We will give you the rest of the Style Guide for your Content assignment. Make sure you familiarize yourself fully with the Style Guide before writing any articles, as not following our guidelines will result in articles being returned to you to redo in proper format.

Rewriting Requirements: The itineraries need to be rewritten paragraph by paragraph, not word by word. You just have to rewrite every paragraph in your own words, BUT you cannot change the City Names, sight names, proper place names, or spin the article to where it does not make sense. It is more about rewriting based on changing the adjectives, verbs and generally embellishing the article with your own twist. You will need to Read the whole paragraph, and then put it in your own words without losing the City Names, proper Places, sights, etc.

Flair and Originality: I do not care if you exceed the number of words of the original article; I am looking for creative work, originality, embellishment, flair, and the ability to entice a reader to want to visit the places in the itinerary. If you are not familiar with travel writing - this may not be for you. In addition, the places names, sights, and city names are a bit unusual in some cases, so you have to be very careful not to change spelling of the cities, places, etc from the original itinerary.

Make Sense: The articles need to read well, and make just as much sense as the original itinerary.

Grammar and Spelling: I expect all your work to be spell-checked and grammar checked for mistakes of the rewrite before you submit to me. If I have to return the work to you because of spelling or poor grammar, payment will not be made until everything is corrected, so please do it right the first time and save us both some time.

Readability scores: Rewrites must be at written at least 8th grade level or above, based on the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level score, must have Flesch Reading Ease of 50 – 70, and 0 to 10% passive sentences. If you do not know how to check this on your rewrite, it is just settings in your version of MS Word and instructions will be provided with Style Guide writing assignments.

Copyscape Pass: Each rewrite has to pass copyscape, with the exception of the proper place names, sites, and cities, which cannot be changed. Check your work before submitting to us, get your own free dupe content checker, download a free copy of software at [url removed, login to view] if you do not have it already.
