Batch editing of Binary Files

I have a need to edit CD Label Templates generated from Surething 3.1. Basically I need a script that can parse the binary file and replace a single string of TEXT, e.g. "C:\[login to view URL]" and replace it with a string that would be given as an argument at runtime e.g. 'c:\[login to view URL] "c:\[login to view URL]" "c:\new file place\"' and then save the output to another predetermined directory given as an argument too . This program MUST NOT change anything else in the file. I can provide an example STD template file. It should be posted by Monday Afternoon. Providing I can edit this posting later. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form (Can be Javascript or VBScript) as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform WinXP running WSH 5.6
