I am trying to print labels to a thermal label printer (continuous feed) and am looking at buying the AspPDF component to stream a PDF file to the browser so that we can print the labels. You will be using classic ASP for this project.
This should be a really easy project, it's just taking the time to read through the online documentation at [login to view URL] You can also download a free 30 day demo from there too.
The labels are 2.0 inches wide, 1.0 inches tall and have a gutter of .125 inches between each label.
I will need three fields printed on each label plus a small barcode. Each label will have a item number (2-5 digits), item name (up to 90 characters) and a part number (up to 25 characters). It will look something like this:
12345
This is the item name
PN: 89111A1FF
barcode of item number
For a final deliverable from you, I just need sample ASP code that generates a PDF with 10 labels that streams the PDF correctly to IE 8. I will integrate your code into our database system to generate the actual labels. You can just use dummy data.
## Deliverables
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
