ASP.NET MVC Web Application Developer

We are a small dynamic team focussing on highly specialised products for the Automotive, Fleet and Transport markets, with excellent presence both locally and internationally. We take pride in the fact that we maintain a high level of internal innovation, R& D and engineering. Our product technology spans data recording, communications, media (video) and User Interface, utilising web based technologies for Data Management, Data Processing and Business Intelligence. A position is currently available for a technically focussed .NET developer ideally with 5+ yrs experience in the full Software Development Life-Cycle taking projects from concept to delivery. You will have a high level of autonomy and technical input into the architectural, implementation and testing phases of the project. Technical Requirements: Solid experience developing ASP.NET Applications. (MVC with AJAX preferred.) Solid experience with WCF Knowledge of Entity Framework or other ORM / ODM. Demonstrable experience utilising Modern Design Patterns for Scalability and Code re-use. .NET Security and Cryptography. Familiarity with Razor View Engine, Javascript, CSS and HTML Familiarity with Transport Layer, Streaming Data and Media protocols. Firm knowledge of SQL and RDBMS. Exposure or experience developing GIS and Mapping applications would be beneficial. Data Analysis techniques relating to data visualisation, reporting, Data Mining and Business Intelligence would be beneficial. Experience with integration to third party ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Citrix etc..) an advantage. Strong ability to encapsulate, design and implement high-level Architectural Software Designs. Ability to think analytically, with good systematic troubleshooting skills. Experience developing in small teams in Kanban or Scrum environments with continuous integration methodologies. Hands on experience writing exploratory and unit test code.
