Describe IT-Skill requirements

For a skills assessment application we need detailed descriptions of contemporary IT-skills, skill levels and skill requirements for common IT roles. (The deliverables are structured, plain text descriptions. Technical writing skills are thus required). Users of the application will be asked to assess their IT skills based on these descriptions. Each skill is defined by five skill levels. Each level must be described in great detail, including examples, to allow an objective assessment. This task requires in depth expertise and hands on experience in the described skill area as well as excellent English language and writing skills. We are looking for multiple experts from different skill areas, e.g. Java EE, .Net, specific programming languages (C++, [login to view URL], etc), SQL, etc. Expertise should be proven by internationally recognized certifications (e.g. from Microsoft, Sun or IBM). Writing skills should be proven by technical or scientific publications (in English). Please name the skill area that you could contribute to. This can also be some highly specialized narrow contribution. For an individual contributor the focus is on in-depth expertise, not on broad coverage. Since it is kind of hard to estimate the effort, please name your hourly rate and area of expertise. We are open for a times & materials agreement. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Descriptions are entered through online authoring system.
