I have a single 2-D photograph that I want sculpted into a 3-D print-ready model for an artistic display piece. The likeness—especially the facial features—must be extremely accurate so the finished print feels true to the original image. Because I plan to run the file straight through my own FDM printer, the mesh must be watertight, manifold, and already scaled to roughly 150 mm tall.
