It seems I have lost some of the cells of my spreadsheet, rather than do it manually it would make sense to write a simple script. A regular Python coder should be able to write it in a few minutes, no doubt it would take me a lot longer. I have two files with almost identical data, every row is the same. I want to read two columns from file A and put them in the same columns of file B if the cell in file B is empty only. If the cell is already occupied then leave it as it is. It would be nice to highlight or comment all the cells that have been changed in file B so we can clearly see changes made.
Hi, I need to get a Python program that just generates a plot of two variables from a xlsx sheet. I've been using openpyxl for Excel manipulation, but don't have the matplotlib on hand and want someone who can do that quickly. Some parameters need to be passed in. Basic need is a command line method, but if you can make a GUI that lets me move parameters, and see results in real time that'd be excellent and please quote for that. Also could use a way to grab PDFs of the graph generated. All the data is in the .doc file attached.
