  Thanks for your efforts. The character looks like it is explicitly put rather than going with the flow. Can you please ignore charcter for now and try getting just the logo correctly and communicate that it is a Takeout food, Sweets. our specialty is going to be Idli fries.

  A suggestion, please dont restrict yourself to this:
  If we have a frying pan under the logo and the fries in the pan on shuttering it makes up the logo of "Ummy".
  
  Or Simply a frying pan which is extending from U and connecting to Y

  Try a unique baby character, where anybody can get connected easily. It should be a baby of age between 2-4 years, where the baby is learning to speak and she says "Ummy" instead of yummy when she likes taste of food. Imagine the experience and come up with a unique character which represents the brand. when anybody tastes our food that is the expression that they are going to carry. Amol baby, wendys, Murphy baby, uncle tetsu etc., are just examples for inspiration. Please dont copy just their images.

     Either of them. Since folks have come umbrella haircut baby I was preferring that. At this point I am preferring a baby only, a unique character that we are introducing as part of brand

     Please see a baby picture that I have attached to the description. I want the baby to have that big eyes and umbrella cut hair style, which is a typical Indian Baby look. As emphasized the word ummy is originated from babies saying it instead of Yummy, tummy. So if we use baby as a property to indicate both the Indian thing and also the orgin of the word and the expression gets carried
