コンテスト概要

I want to spend my life creating 7 things of quality, value, and meaning in this world. That could be a new invention, a craft, a song, participation in a peace building effort, or maybe even children if they are in my future. (I better not have more than 7 kids ;)

Why 7 things? It's too many things to wait until I retire. It's also too few for me to be overwhelmed by having too many goals

Then when I started this contest, I realized that it would be good to encourage other people to make 7 things in their own lives, be accountable to it, and show what they made.

I need a designer to create a simple site that has a home page describing the idea, encouraging people to take on the challenge of making 7 things of quality and value. The site name is makerofthings7 dot com. The site will have 2 sections "Home" and "Change makers" - See attached PDF.

--- The home page will describe the challenge, and will invite people commit to making 7 things of quality and value in their life.
--- The changemakers page will highlight people making a difference and will offer a way for anyone to upload their vision of 7 things into their own section of the site (e.g. www.makerofthings7.com/FredTheDancer )

Suppose Fred Astaire logs in and he happens to be an entertainer. He makes one of his life goals to inspire 100 people by his dancing and enthusiasm for life. When you click on FredTheDancer we will learn more about them, their dreams, and what they are doing with it.

Also on his profile, it's possible to click on a button called "inspired". If Fred does something that inspires me, I'll click inspired. There is also a section for people to comment on the projects and share stories about how it inspires them.

Now comes the fun part, how dreams actually come true... when people commit to fulfilling one of their dreams they need to have someone keep them accountable. The only way to fill in one of the 7 dreams is to have 3 or more friends hold them accountable to it. So each of the 7 things can be empty. When you fill in a dream, there will be a screen to ask people to keep you to your word and make that dream come true. (a link to facebook, linked in, or email,) Once the dream is has 3 or more supporters, it's locked forever. There is no going back unless your support network also agrees.

I would like a placeholder for 7 things to be something to the effect of:
* {empty / coming soon}
* {needs 2 more supporters}
* {In progress}
* Complete

I will handle all programming of the site, I need someone to create the HTML, CSS and images.

Please create a homepage, and a template that I can use to paste in pictures of the app, add a per-picture description, and allow the user to navigate back to the other 7 things.

I would like to use a mobile-compatible layout.
