コンテスト概要

Rendering a 100% photorealistic Brick Facade is a hard challenge, especially because it is hard to get the textures and lighting for brick walls look photo-realistic. This challenge is to create a 3D model of the square house in the pictures with the dimensions and specifications I give you and create photorealistic texture and photorealistic rendering.

The texture and rendering is the hardest part.
As the rendering should look like a real photo and not like PS4 video game graphics.
The winner would be the one that comes closest to a CGI movie rendering quality of the house. And has all the design files included in the entry submission.

As attachment you can find the design style and brick textures for the house.
Please use the given design style and textures.

The house should be fully rectangular house (simple rectangles everywhere with simple rectangular windows of only 1 piece of glass per window and flat roofing) with 8 meter wide and 12.3 meter long.
It should have a ground of floor with a ceiling height of 3.5 meter and 4 floors above it with a ceiling height of 2.5 meter.

The final color has not been decided yet, for now it is still pick a color (red, yellow, black, white) based on the given textures for the color.

PS: To stand out you could include a suggested floorplan, multiple views that can be used to build a scale model of the house, house foundation calculations, cost estimation to build the building, etc.

    I'd appreciate it when multiple points of view (i.e. 1 front view, 2 side views, 1 rear and 1 top view) could be given in the submission.

    Getting the texture right still seems to be hard, so higher resolution reference photography is added under the new attachments such as BlackBrickHD.jpg and LinedUpHD2.jpg

    #48 Much closer to photo-realism already. But still has some incorrect the perspective distortions. I also suggest to replace the door with a more luxurious looking door

      Why are you commenting on these designs in public? Most of these are Sealed designs. nobody can see it but you and the designer. There is no point in making a public remark if nobody can tell which design or features of the design you are talking about.

      #45 texture has way too high brightness settings and lack contrast. Does not fit into the rest of the background.
      #46 It's too light compared to the rest of the picture. Light comes from a different angle than the rest of the image.
      #47 Every building seems too flat to be realistic.

    +Great perspective for placing the new building in the existing photo.
    +Close to realistic shadows.

    - Glass windows are still too reflective.
    - The way using black and white colors the facade is colored is unfavorable.

    #1 video game graphics quality rendering. And not a 15 meter building.
    #4 #8 #9 video game graphics renderings. Window positions placement don't look nice.
    #5 #7 video game graphics quality rendering. Building seems to expand on the on high side.
    #2 is already closer to CGI, but it is rendering old castle instead of 15 meter high building.
    #3 is a collage and the lighting comes from several different directions. There's no need to place it exactly at the building site, just to have a photo-realistic rendering that can be placed side to side to existing buildings.

      It's still too video game like graphics, windows never reflect 100% of the light, the environment doesn't look real, but more importantly, it's also not a 15 meter high building. Having the windows touch the ground and same height as the front door is a good move. But the window frames should definitely not be brown.
