  Many of you have supplied very nice artwork and I am grateful for your creative ideas. I have come to realize that the freshwater trout in the streams I fish are unfamiliar, so I am going to try to supply you with some images of brown trout and rainbow trout which are the fish I need in my illustration. Also, the kind of fishing rod we use for these fish looks a bit different than what has been illustrated so far; I will try to give you a picture of that. Finally, I will try to give you a photo or two of a typical American mountain stream; the fish I seek do not live in the ocean. Thank you again for all of your work!

     Several of you have asked for more explanation. I plan a book which will be instructional and have 10 to 15 illustrations. I also hope to have a youtube video with the same themes about fishing and fishermen/women. I am looking for ideas for a style of illustrating the fish (trout) underwater during the moments when they decide whether to take the artificial fly/hook or not. Currents in the water affect both the fish and the artificial fly/hook. The fish can have some cartoonish characteristics and does not have to be like a scientific illustration. Depicting currents will also be important.
