I need a new logo for my blog, www.chillreptile.com which is about blogging and marketing. Current logo is attached. It needs to be long/skinny, not tall, so it can easily fit in my header area.not. My current one is 180 pixels wide X 45 pixels tall and that seems to work great. It needs to be a .PNG with a transparent background. My main brand colors are: 1) I use this for text and the current logo: #292929, 3) I use this for CTA buttons a lot: #4D80E3, #3) more of a background accent color right now but I'm open to using it: #354C7B -

I'm open to ideas. I don't want it to be too "cartooney" or corny, although I know the name is pretty whimsical and corny. If you're thinking about using reptiles in the logo, go with a snake (not lizards etc) although this is not required at all, you can see I haven't used that in my current one, but feel free to explore this possibility.

I would also like to get a light colors (inverted) version from the final winner if possible so I can use it on dark backgrounds.

I like sharp, crisp logos without a lot of frills or design elements. Keep it simple, modern, elegant, and streamlined. Think "Startup / technology" company, not restaurant style logos, etc.

From this list https://demortalz.com/55-creative-and-amazing-logo-designs/ I like the 'big colors' font and the 'eig finity' font, and the "Firestarter" font, and the "Fresh fish" logo is really cool, the 'minimum' one is also nice (maybe a snake version of this with all the letters resembling a snake) - ALso the "MOJITO" one is really cool (I think this font with a minimalist snake next to it would be great)

I'm seeing a lot of submissions that are very similar in font and style, really hoping to see a few more unique, creative designs. While I do like the square / modern fonts, there are a lot of other ways this could go. I also like more playful fun designs, more funky fonts etc. I do like minimalistic (not messy). I will try and add some from around the web that I really like.

FYI - I do like the idea of a small icon to the left of the words in the logo, however I'm looking for something more friendly than the ones currently uploaded. Please don't take this to mean I must have an icon, I also like the simple word logos.
