Meros utilizes the best of modern technology in a powerful new way, utilizing both a PoW Blockchain and a PoS DAG, and introducing a groundbreaking consensus mechanism called Merit Caching. Meros is instant and feeless, while maintaining the same level of security and integrity of traditional networks, such as Bitcoin.

Meros is positioned to be the currency of choice for commerce, payments, and day to day life, especially in regions where the transaction costs of most cryptocurrencies and payment networks remain too expensive to be practical..
