The name of the restaurant is THE BOX . The idea behind the restaurant is a play on the famous saying think outside the box . We want to treat this saying as a conspiracy that people are trying to hide whats inside THE BOX ; by telling you to think outside it; it will be something like (Why are they always telling you to think outside the box? what are they trying to hide?). And our restaurant will be THE BOX you are supposed to think outside it.

We require a Full and complete brand identity for our restaurant; this include everything from the beginning with a logo to the specific coloring and fonts used, to creating letter heads, cards, packaging, menu backgrounds advertisement background, workers T-shirts ...etc.
But at first we will choose the logo we like and then move on to other items which will follow the same design.

Our initial vision is to create a new contemporary restaurant. We are a start up so we are starting small and will be focusing on deliveries and a little on dining in. Therefore, the design of the logo and the brand has to be eye catchy and immediately recognizable (once known of course). From the name of the restaurant (THE BOX) the theme will be all things boxy; we are thinking of doing square and cubical foods and dishes as well as creative boxes for the packaging for food delivery.

We like to describe the design/logo that we are seeking as: elegant, neat, clearly outlined and mysterious.
we do not want it to be cartoony or messy or include food items.

we are thinking of using shades of grey with the gradient colors from white to black for the design/logo.. but we are not 100% committed to this coloring, you can change our mind.

we are very open to creative and out of the box ideas ;)

I agree that the logo doesn't follow the brief exactly but do like it. Sometimes simple logos are the most effective!

Thanks for the great competition, but it was a miss guided description. The winning logo is just a free font. Really disappointing.

  I imagined that they wanted a more professional, more worked logo. or something abstract, never imagine such a simple logo with little graphic work that has nothing to do with thinking outside the box.

  beside is just a midification of a stock logo and font there are far more nice and "misterious" logos on shutterstock and far more cheap.. and that would've gave us also more time for more serious projects

  even better.. they say that all about the restaurant it is misterious and box like (box like meals, box like dishes) but they choosed a curvy like logo (spaghetti like). and for "the mistery" to go even further there is also "restaurant" in the logo so the clients to be sure were they go...something like "hey, this is a misterious, outside the box place were you have to wonder what it is and what they try to hide, BUT first thing first, this is a RESTAURANT and only the name is curvy, the rest is boxy" :)))
