The work must be your work not images and work belonging to others.
This is about the Vietnam War - don't create images reflecting other wars.

i loved that idea of two alternate world doing the same action but with different consequence. i don't see it here. its a nice collage though bye.

We have posted the top 4 of the entries on our FaceBook Page to get input from our friends. I was hoping they would all like one poster or another but it appears it is a very tight race between the top 4 entries. A lot of nice things are being said about the work and creativity. The top 4 posters are very difficult to determine who is the winner. They are all liked by my friends. Will make that selection in a couple more days - thanks again.

Your poster will also need to have areas where information about the performance can be displayed and easily readable - Where would the information displayed below go on your poster?
The play will be performed at many venues so we will be changing the wording numerous times depending on where and when it is scheduled to be performed.

So please add the information below to your poster so we can see how you envisioned it would look like. We mentioned this need in the original write up but I am mentioning it again because so many of you are forgetting about it.

  The person setting this brief keeps changing their mind. Even the play itself changed name mid way through. The wording and layout just do not work as a poster concept, it is way too wordy and badly thought out. Nevertheless, try and provide something a bit more professional looking and.... well... The client is always right. In this case, they can be as right as they want, I won't be wasting anymore time on this - they can reap what they sow.

When adding the word "WAR" to your poster do not use the color "YELLOW" it is a color that does not agree with what the word represents. Yellow represents a coward - war is dark - evil - bloody.

  Sorry, I thought I replied to you, but I guess - I did not press enter.. Anyway most all posters for plays have been created by illustrators - so you are on the right track. I included a lot of graphics of war in vietnam and of the era that the war was fought to help people know what we were talking about. But I never wanted the graphics to be actually used as the graphics in the poster - they were to help artist know the vision of what was needed.

  Most likely not.. I am looking for a poster that no one can accuse me of having plagiarized someone else's artistic work. I am looking for originality. I cannot afford to have someone suddenly come forward and claim i am using something that they had created or photographed. I would have to pull the promotions and it would cost me a lot of money and embarrassment.

  I liked your hippy piece but the war illustration looks like you have soldiers being portrayed from maybe a more recent war. Please use pictures from the vietnam war to give you an idea of what they looked like. I included pictures in my info on the poster requirements. It looks like the men you have in on the right of the scene have something on their helmets and vietnam soldiers fighting in the jungle would not have anything like that on their helmet.

How do we get the war images if not downloaded by stock sites ? We don't own any original images of wars from Vietnam, We were not even born then :D , Unless you provide your own images for us to work on.

The poster entries currently visible are totally unacceptable because they consist of nothing but copyrighted material taken from the internet and merge together. The graphics were cropped but their source and ownership is easily resolved by simply doing a google search of graphics and the true owner or creator of the image is revealed. This work - this poster that I need created has to be something original.....something that is not just a collage of the work of others.

Create your own art - your own graphics - if you are using the work of some other artist as inspiration your work must not look like a replica of that work. BE CREATIVE.. Do not submit copyrighted content as an entry in this contest.

  Like I said you have the right idea but you are using nothing but copyrighted material.. Even the graphics I included are copyrighted - I provided them to give you a better Idea of what we need.
