コンテスト概要

The objective of this contest is to design 1 page using the layout described in the document called “Test page”. I’m looking for an accurate representation of the layout in my sketch, please do not make changes.

Skills: CSS3, HTML5, Responsive mobile, Friendly bootstrap design

The design must be responsive and final output will be delivered in HTML5 format. A demo will be provided to test the result on various computer and mobile screens. To clarify, JPEG mock-up will not be sufficient to win the contest.

The overall website will have a home page which leads to the other pages which are accessed only by members, in total there will be 25 screens. In terms of content, the members’ only pages contain mainly forms with very limited number of images and graphic elements. You will develop one on the pages in this contest and the winner may be awarded the rest of the work as part of a bigger project.

The style will be contemporary, clean lines, fresh. The general colour scheme can be found in the Homepage mock-up screen. The same colours and theme will be found (to some degree) throughout all pages, including the page designed in this contest.

The back-end will be developed using ASP.NET MVC5 AngularJS C# and the database will be MS SQL. Familiarity with these programming languages will be a bonus.

You can use bootstrap for UI design but for the controls you should use Telerik. It must support razor format for MVC.

There are 3 days left to the deadline. Please can you submit your entries in the next day or so to allow you time for revisions. So far entry #29 is the closest to what I'm looking for although it needs significant work in terms of colour and font. Its mobile version also needs improvement. Please do not submit more complicated designs as I will not consider them. I'm looking for something very simple.

You can use bootstrap for UI design but for the controls you should use Telerik (supports razor format which is better for MVC).

The design must be responsive and suitable for different mobile screens. Please attach on the private message board a link to the demo where I cna test the responsiveness.

Please DO NOT use icons on any of your headers. The design of this page must be scalable and easy to add new functionalities, headers etc. Use of correct blue shade (#33F7FF) is a must.

A few useful guidelines

1. Keep the number of fonts used at a minimum: Max 3
2. Limit the use of different colours for fonts: Use black, different shades of grey, max 4 colours
3. Use sans serif fonts instead of serif for content
4. Ensure that proper text and text size is used: Arial Trebuchet and Georgia should be at 10pts+, Times New Roman at 12pts+ whilst Comic Sans and Impact fonts are not used
5. Content must make use of mixed capitalisation
6. Use standard fonts for website fonts
7. Character spacing should not be minimised
8. Do not use blue for text: Users associate blue text with links and can thus try and click on it
9. Do not colour text in red or green
10. Do not use the same or similar colours for text and background
