I am pleased with everything except the black header at the top. I am looking for something much better. Perhaps something brighter?

One thing I am NOT looking for is a cut and paste job with photos. My website already has a lot of photos. It doesn't need anymore.

Do what you want with it but make sure it fits in with the rest of the website.

I was thinking about symbols of Macau which could be used on the header. These are the ones I came up with:

St Pauls, almond cookies, egg tarts, A Ma Temple, Lotus flower, wavy black and white tile of Senado Square, Macau Tower, old ships, murals. I've attached some pictures of some of these things.

I would say there's no need to exist a big header with the site name. The site title, the domain and the favicon are supposed to be enough to identify the site. Removing the header would bring up more content before having to scroll (very useful for mobile). The aim should be about conversions not about design choices that make no real difference to the site usage.

If you still want the site name in the screen, I would say to put it in the left site of the menu bar and still remove the big top header, this way it would be consistent with the flow of most successful web sites and leverage the user expectation of how a navbar structure should be.

simeon war, i don't know. obviously design it first for sure and then send me the file so i can put it on my website. i don't know if that requires fixing it with the html code or not. mscir, where is your submission? i dont see it

  the site must not have posted it yet, I uploaded 14 examples of a new background with different fonts for the text this morning, it should show up sometime soon. I don't know why the site delays for so long.
